About the game
Perplexd is a daily word puzzle: unscramble 5, 7, and 9-letter words against the clock.
Each day you’ll get three fresh puzzles (Easy/Medium/Hard). Tap Reveal Letters, study the scramble, and type your best answer. It’s quick, satisfying, and built for your morning coffee or a short brain break.
How Perplexd works
- Choose a level: Easy (5 letters), Medium (7), Hard (9).
- Reveal Letters: starts the round and shows the scrambled tiles.
- Submit: lock in your answer before time runs out.
- Overtime: if the timer hits zero, you can still solve, and hints become available.
- New puzzles: released daily at midnight UTC.
Quick strategies that genuinely help
- Scan for anchors: vowels (A/E/I/O/U) often reveal the word “shape”.
- Look for common endings: -ED, -ING, -TION, -S (plural).
- Spot bigrams: common pairs like TH, CH, SH, ER, AN, IN.
- Shuffle with intent: if you’re stuck, shuffle once, then re-check vowels and endings.
- Don’t brute-force: aim for 2–3 plausible candidates, then test quickly.

If you see R T A E S, you can try STARE, TEARS, or RATES. The trick is finding likely vowel placement first (A/E), then building around it.
